Right.
Basically, Yarmouth Harbour Commissioners decided not to support our event😭
.
After bringing over 2000 visitors to the town, raising about £1000 for the Yarmouth Primary School for three consecutive years, we thought we were getting somewhere...so decided to take a risk, and the Yarmouth Xmas Market is here this weekend⚡️
.
The hardest bit is putting up the marquee which costs us over £3000 just on its own😅
.
We were perhaps pretty hopeful but hoping to have some types of funding from some kinds of local organisations...but it seems very unlikely!
.
Now we’re hugely relying on the revenue at the event, donations from the local businesses/individuals, and the organiser’s credit card🤣🤣🤣
.
Well, that’s not a problem at all, we are well prepared to walk through the thorny hedges.
And SUPER excited for this weekend.
.
The only sad bit is, now the burden to raise money for the school is extremely high...
.
The admission for this event will be £2 for adults, and £1 for kids.
.
But if you ever felt that we could provide a little more value for your festive outing than the money you paid for the entrance, please throw a few more coins to the donation box located at the exit.
.
We will make sure that all the money in the box would be donated wholly to the school.
(Not towards the organisers credit card repayments😂😂😂)
.
Thank you so so much for your support as always...
We’re so looking forward to seeing you this weekend🌲🌲🌲
.
We’re open 11am-5pm.
Both Saturday and Sunday.
At the Yarmouth Primary School Field.
