.
The Yarmouth Primary School agreed to use it for creative activities!
.
So we’re hoping to start and fund the after class clubs for art, music, or drama, anything creative⚡️⚡️⚡️
.
It was SO SHOCKING to find out that the kids don’t have art or music lessons at primary school anymore...because simply the Ofsted doesn’t count them for school assessing🤯🤯🤯
.
Isn’t creativity the most important thing after all?
.
Wasn’t art lessons the WHOLE point for you to go to primary school when you were at their age??
.
If they miss this crucial period of their life, where you could be drawing making, and singing without thinking about exams or paying rent, when would you do it!
.
So we’re in talks with these local creatives who participated at our event.
.
They will be teachers and run short courses for art, wood working, animal making, or bicycle building even!
.
They will be paid £35-£50 an hour depending on the number of the students.
And we will be sponsoring the first 5 lessons.
.
If the kids like it and parents are happy to pay, the courses will continue without our funding.
.
The local creatives will be paid decent wages for running this.
Parents will be paying for real education (not for simple childminding or your kids to be sitting in front of telly).
.
Most importantly, it gives a whole another choice and inspiration to the children.
A choice to live a creative life...just like their “teachers”!
.
You never know, a mighty creative oak may grow from this tiny Yarmouth School, they may bring fruitful future to this island🌴
.
It’s a tiny start for this long term, amazing concept yet pretty hopeful(!) investment.
.
But again, the failure for us is “not doing anything”.
So let us try.
.
If you could offer either creative skills or small funding to top this up, let us know...
It will be received with the greatest respect ever possible☺️
